MR. AKBAR BILGRAMI
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Expertise: Corporate finance, business strategy, contract negotiation and banking.
Location: Islamabad, Pakistan.
Akbar Bilgrami founded Bridge Factor & holds over 40 years of International experience in banking and corporate finance. Before Establishing Bridge Factor in 2005 he headed the Management Consultancy Division of Grant Thornton (Pakistan Practice). Akbar has been involved in a number of projects in an advisory capacity covering Loan Syndications, acquisitions in the Banking, Telecom, Power and Manufacturing Sectors, as well as major privatisation transactions. Given his vast international experience and expansive network of contacts, Akbar has been instrumental in arranging equity and debt finance for major clients, structuring and negotiating mergers & acquisition deals, and providing negotiation support in complex transactions on the national and international front.

MR. ASHRUFF HASAN RANA

Expertise: Power Sector, Project Development, Contract Negotiation and Fund Raising (Debt & Equity).
Location: Islamabad, Pakistan
As a Director, Ashruff has been instrumental in establishing Bridge Factor as a top tear advisory firm, with impeccable track record and unmatched service delivery. He leads the Power Sector practice of the firm and has spearheaded the effective thrust towards Renewable Energy in Pakistan. To his credit are almost 70% (50MW x 16 = 800 MW) of the Wind Energy Projects to have achieved Financial Closing.
By qualification Ashruff is a Chartered Accountant, and a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. His experience of Corporate & Project Finance, Transaction Advisory & Structuring, Mergers & Acquisitions, Financial and Management Advisory spans over 2 (two) decades. He has also presented, as a Power Sector specialist, at a number of local and international Conferences / Seminars.

MR. WASEEM RAZA

Location: Islamabad, Pakistan.
Waseem is a founding Director of Bridge factor, Chartered Accountant and fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. He holds more than 20 years of experience in infrastructure transactions, project evaluations, mergers & acquisitions, project management and system designing. Before Assisting in Establishing Bridge Factor he served with Grant Thornton (Pakistan practice) as manager consulting, and thereafter with Haliburton’s LMK Resources (a Geo-IT Company) as Manager Finance. Waseem has extensive experience and expertise in handling financial advisory assignments with respect to Infrastructure Projects including construction of highways/ roads, grain terminals at sea, multistory buildings/ complexes, housing colonies, dams and tunnels.

MR. YASAR NAJIB

Yasar holds with him more than 20 years of experience in project development and management, debt arrangement and structuring, fund management and financial advisory. He was the Chief Financial Officer of Foundation Power Company Daharki Limited before joining Bridge Factor, where he specialized in contract negotiation, finalization of project agreements and arrangement of financing. He brings with him intensive experience from the corporate sector having worked with Fauji Foundation, Private Power and Infrastructure Board and Petroleum Exploration (Pvt.) Limited. Yasar is a Chartered Accountant and fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.

MR. AHMAD KHAN

Ahmad is an experienced investment banker with more than 22 years of professional experience in corporate finance, privatizations, M&A advisory and management consulting. He has actively closed/worked on advisory mandates worth USD 7 billion. His experience in privatization sector spans on last 15 years where he worked on nearly USD 4 billion mandates which includes both sell side and buy side advisory. Ahmed has been instrumental in obtaining recognitions and accolades from reputed accreditation organizations including Euromoney, Bloomberg, Thomson, Factset, The Banker and CFA Association of Pakistan. Ahmad is a Chartered Accountant and fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.

Sohail is a Director at Bridge Factor (Private) Limited, and holds with him more than 19 years of experience in strategy formulation, long term planning, business development, financial analysis, capital raising, and mergers & acquisition. Before joining Bridge Factor he has served with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu International (DTTI-Pakistan Practice) and and Moores Rowland International (Pakistan Practice). Sohail has been led transactions from inception up till success in the power sector, telecom sector, infrastructure sector and banking.

MR. KHWAJA HUZAIFA

Mr. Huzaifa has more than 15 years of experience in Banking and Transaction Advisory services. Before joining Bridge Factor, Mr. Huzaifa worked as a Senior Manager – Transaction Advisory Services at Ernst & Young, where he has led advisory transactions for a number of projects in the Power, Infrastructure Sector, Banking and the Telecom Sector. He holds an MBA from IBA Karachi and a BSc Honors degree from LUMS. He is presently managing the Karachi Office.
