Akbar Bilgrami founded Bridge Factor & holds over 40 years of International experience in banking and corporate finance. Before Establishing Bridge Factor in 2005 he headed the Management Consultancy Division of Grant Thornton (Pakistan Practice). Akbar has been involved in a number of projects in an advisory capacity covering Loan Syndications, acquisitions in the Banking, Telecom, Power and Manufacturing Sectors, as well as major privatisation transactions. Given his vast international experience and expansive network of contacts, Akbar has been instrumental in arranging equity and debt finance for major clients, structuring and negotiating mergers & acquisition deals, and providing negotiation support in complex transactions on the national and international front.

Waseem is a founding Director of Bridge factor, Chartered Accountant and fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. He holds more than 20 years of experience in infrastructure transactions, project evaluations, mergers & acquisitions, project management and system designing. Before Assisting in Establishing Bridge Factor he served with Grant Thornton (Pakistan practice) as manager consulting, and thereafter with Haliburton’s LMK Resources (a Geo-IT Company) as Manager Finance. Waseem has extensive experience and expertise in handling financial advisory assignments with respect to Infrastructure Projects including construction of highways/ roads, grain terminals at sea, multistory buildings/ complexes, housing colonies, dams and tunnels.

He brings with him intensive experience from the corporate sector having worked with Fauji Foundation, Private Power and Infrastructure Board and Petroleum Exploration (Pvt.) Limited. Ahmad is an experienced investment banker with more than 22 years of professional experience in corporate finance, privatizations, M&A advisory and management consulting. Mr. Huzaifa has more than 15 years of experience in Banking and Transaction Advisory services. Before joining Bridge Factor, Mr. Huzaifa worked as a Senior Manager – Transaction Advisory Services at Ernst & Young, where he has led advisory transactions for a number of projects in the Power, Infrastructure Sector, Banking and the Telecom Sector. He holds an MBA from IBA Karachi and a BSc Honors degree from LUMS. He is presently managing the Karachi Office.
